The Good Earth Education Fund (GEEF) has been established to raise money for Tanzanians in the tourism industry, specifically those associated with Good Earth Tours, who are driven to pursue further education but are limited by financial constraints. The Good Earth Education Fund sponsors a scholarship program that empowers guides, porters and cooks to pursue higher education and encourages them to give back to their communities upon graduation. All donations and proceeds will be given directly to the successful applicants of the GEEF scholarship program.

We believe that through education, these individuals will have the potential to develop the expertise and knowledge that is essential in contributing to the sustainable development of their communities. These students will return to Arusha and the surrounding villages with a better chance to succeed in their chosen careers and the will to make a positive impact within their community. Thus, we hope that by assisting to improve the quality of life of these individuals we will have a positive impact on their family, friends, and communities.

The GEEF is dedicated to improving the lives of indigenous people living in the Arusha region of Tanzania, one student at a time.
